Moksha has a feature called “submission timeout.” With this feature, if a submission remains in the “claimed” status in a reader’s queue for too long, it can be returned to the unclaimed queue automatically. This is useful, for example, if a reader claims a submission, but she never acts on it. You may decide that after a specified period of days, e.g. 30, you might return the submission to the unclaimed queue for another reader to claim and review.
You can find this feature in the Submission Type edit page, under “Submission Aging and Timeout”:
To turn the feature on, set “Submission timeout enabled” to “Yes.” Then set the number of days before the submission is returned to the unclaimed queue in the next field. In this example, if a submission with “claimed” status is inactive* for 14 days, it will be unassigned to the current user (new user set to “none”) and its status will be changed to “unclaimed,” effectively returning it to the unclaimed queue.
* inactive means any submission which has not been commented on, rated, forwarded, or edited.
